, Saif expressed that he does not consider himself a big enough star to successfully pull off every type of character. Throwback to the time when he shared his perspective on

and the challenges of taking on various roles in the film industry.
During an interview with

Film Companion

, the ‘Race’ star stated that he doesn’t want to be delusional about his stardom, acknowledging that while he enjoys being recognized as a star, he prefers to focus on reality rather than illusions of grandeur.
He mentioned that he has never thought of himself as a star and is comfortable with that mindset. His parents are established stars in their own right, but they have always maintained a sense of normalcy, which Saif admires. He said, “I’m not star enough to pull off anything. I’ve never actually thought of myself as a star, and I don’t really want to either. I like being a star, but I don’t want to be delusional. My parents are big stars, but very realistic, very normal.”
He also shared the importance of accepting risks in the industry and understanding that failure is a possibility when taking on new challenges. Saif believes that if one encounters setbacks, it’s essential to brush it off and move forward rather than dwell on disappointments.
