Vidya Balan REACTS to nepotism in Bollywood

with Indian Express, Vidya stated Nepotism or no nepotism, I am here. (Kissi ki baap ki industry nahi hai, nahi toh har baap ka beta, har baap ki beti successful hote). The industry does not belong to anybody’s father, otherwise, all the

star kids

would have been successful today.

Elaborating further, Vidya added that she had been a lone ranger and that she had been content pursuing her own interests. She also expressed that there were moments when she thought having the support of specific individuals might have led to kinder treatment during certain periods. However, she believes that, when it comes to opportunities, no one has been able to deprive her of what she deserves.
