In a widely shared video, Sobhita, dressed in an elegant peach-toned salwar suit, was seen standing beside Naga Chaitanya as they posed alongside Nagarjuna and Amala. Adding to the moment’s significance, Nagarjuna ushered the couple to the centre, creating a heartwarming family photo that radiated warmth and unity.
This simple yet meaningful gesture reinforced the bond Sobhita shares with the Akkinenis, as she prepares to officially join their family.
Recently, Nagarjuna spoke fondly of Sobhita in an interview with a leading news daily. He expressed admiration for her independent nature and career choices, calling her a “lovely girl” who lives life on her own terms.
“She could have done any kind of films or series, but she decides what to do with her career. She is very peaceful and content with her choices. I have received a lot of warmth from her, and I can see how happy they make each other,” Nagarjuna shared, highlighting the happiness Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya bring to each other’s lives.
Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya got engaged on August 8, 2024, in an intimate ceremony at Naga Chaitanya’s Hyderabad residence. Since then, the couple has been making joint public appearances, much to the delight of fans.
Reports suggest the wedding is set for December 4, 2024, and will take place at Annapurna Studios, a location deeply significant to the Akkineni family. Contrary to speculation about a destination wedding, the couple has opted for a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad.
Sobhita is reportedly deeply involved in the wedding preparations, paying attention to every detail. She has chosen a stunning Kanjeevaram sari with real gold zari work for the big day and has also selected a traditional white khadi sari for a pre-wedding function. To add a personal touch, she purchased a matching set for Naga Chaitanya, ensuring the couple will twin at one of their ceremonies.
