Responding to it, Shikhar Dhawan recently opened up on his show ‘Dhawan Karenge’ on Jio Cinema. Recalling the humourous incident, Shikar said that he had heard of the

rumour

of him and Mitali Raj getting married and it was false. “I heard that I was getting married to Mithali Raj,” Shikhar said on the show, thus putting an end to the rumours.
Meanwhile, Mithali, 41, is currently the mentor for the Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). She is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in the sport’s history. The legendary cricketer holds the record of scoring the most runs in Women’s One Day Internationals. In 2022, she made her last appearance where she played for the Indian national women’s team in the World Cup.

Talking about Shikhar Dhawan, last year the cricketer made the headlines when he was granted a divorce from his ex-wife Aesha Mukherji on the grounds of “cruelty”. Shikhar and Aesha had met on Facebook and they got married in 2012. The former couple also have a son named Zoraver Dhawan together. However, Shikhar had accused his ex-wife of deliberately staying in Australia along with their son and keeping Zoraver away from him. Both Aesha and Zoraver are Australian citizens. marriage, Aesha was earlier married and has two daughters from her first marriage.
On the work front, Shikhar was last seen playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. He is also not seen in the Indian international cricket team for quite some time now and hasn’t been playing domestic cricket either. However he is often seen working on projects related to the entertainment industry during this time.
