For the unversed, Lata Mangeshkar was recognised by the Guinness World Records for being the most-recorded artist in the world.
As of 1974, it was estimated that she had recorded over 25,000 solo, duet, and chorus-backed songs in multiple languages over the course of her career, a record that spanned from 1948 to 1974.
Lata Mangeshkar recorded songs in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, and many other languages, earning recognition from the Guinness World Records as the most-recorded artist.
The legendary singer passed away in 2022. The singer enchanted audiences with songs in a multitude of Indian languages, encompassing Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and more.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan, paid their respects to the singer. Additionally, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Shankar Mahadevan, Vidya Balan, and Anupam Kher were among the others who attended the funeral.
