NEW DELHI: With an
approval rating
of 78.5%, PM
Narendra Modi
has once again emerged as the most popular leader in the world, a
Morning Consult survey
said.
The Morning Consult’s most recent approval ratings are based on data gathered between January 30 and February 5. These ratings represent a seven-day moving average of opinions among adults from each surveyed country, the Morning Consult said in its report.
Meanwhile, Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico is in the second place with 64%, followed by Switzerland’s Alain Berset in the third position with 57% approval rating.
Poland’s Donald Tusk stands in the fourth position with a rating of 50% while Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva has a rating of 47%. Australian premier Anthony Albanese follows closely with an approval rating of 45 per cent.
The data presented is weighted to approximate representative samples of adults in each surveyed country, with weighting parameters and target populations varying accordingly. This methodological approach allows for a more accurate reflection of public opinion across different demographics and geographical locations.
