At a rally in Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, PM Modi inaugurated 53 schemes, including the Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice Tourist Destination Poll, the Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign, and the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme that aims to train 2.5 lakh farmers, according to an official statement.

Projects worth Rs 5,000 crores launched to develop agriculture
In a bid to boost horticulture, agriculture and livestock husbandry in Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi launched ‘Holistic Agriculture Development Programme’ worth Rs 5,000 crores. The scheme aims to provide skill development to about 2.5 lakh farmers through a specialized Daksh Kisan portal. The program will establish about 2000 Kisan Khidmat Ghars.

Projects worth Rs 1,400 crores inaugurated to develop tourism
PM Modi inaugurated multiple projects worth Rs 1,400 crores for the development of tourism in Jammu and Kashmir. It includes Swadesh Darshan and PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation And Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) scheme, and the project for ‘Integrated Development of Hazratbal Shrine’, Srinagar.
With the aim to enhance overall experience of pilgrims, PM Modi launched ‘Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice Tourist Destination Poll’ and ‘Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign’.
He further announced 42 tourist destinations selected under the Challenge Based Destination Development (CBDD) Scheme.
PM Modi launched over 53 projects to develop a diverse range of pilgrimage and tourist destinations across the country. These include religious sites such as Annavaram Temple in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh; Navagraha Temples in Thanjavur and Mayiladuthurai Districts of Tamil Nadu and Karaikal District of Puducherry; Sri Chamundeshwari Devi Temple in Mysore, Karnataka; Karni Mata Mandir in Bikaner, Rajasthan; Maa Chintpurni Temple in Una District, Himachal Pradesh; and Basilica of Bom Jesus Church in Goa, among others.

PM Modi dedicated to the nation the development of ‘Integrated Development of Hazratbal Shrine’ in Srinagar; tourism facilities developed in Northeast circuit in Meghalaya; Spiritual Circuit in Bihar and Rajasthan; Rural and Tirthankar Circuit in Bihar; development of Jogulamba Devi Temple, Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana; and development of Amarkantak Temple, Annupur District, Madhya Pradesh.
