Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had bought a piece of land on the Moon. He bought the region called Mare Muscoviense or the ‘Sea of Muscovy’ for Rs 55 lakh, as per reports.

SRK’s plot on the Moon is in the area called Sea of Tranquility, according to Lunar Registry. The actor once revealed in an interview with Zee News that every year, he is gifted a piece of land on the Moon on his birthday by one of his Australian fans. As per reports, a crater on the Moon, called ‘Shah Rukh’, is also named after him.

Rupesh Masson

A man from Jammu and Kashmir named Rupesh Masson recently bought a plot on the Moon after Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing on the Moon’s south pole. A business and educationist, Masson told HT that he purchased the land at “Luna Earths Moon, Tract 55-Parcel 10772 known as Lacus Felicitatis (Lake of Happiness).”

Suman Deb Nath

Suman Deb Nath, a Tripura resident, was so inspired by Bollywood celebs owning plot on the Moon that he too purchased a piece of land there. “I had to spend Rs 6,000 which includes shipping and PDF charges for one acre of moon land. There is this International Lunar Society which deals with moon land, I have purchased from them,” he told News18 in 2022.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta

According to BollywoodShadis.com, TV actors Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta, her BFF, were gifted an acre of land on the Moon by a fan, after their stint at the Bigg Boss house.
