Balkaur Singh

on Tuesday accused the state govt of harassing him over the legal status of the newborn.
A new legislation closed the IVF route for older couples since Dec 2021 when the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Act was passed to regulate the functioning of ART clinics and banks across the country.

According to the Act, clinics can only give ART services to women aged above 21 and below 50. For men, it’s above 21 and below 55.
Uploading a video clip on social media on Tuesday night, Balkaur Singh said that he is being harassed since morning and asked to produce documents to prove that the baby is legally born.
Balkaur Singh said, “I am a law-abiding ex-serviceman. My son did not break the law for 28 years. I have committed no wrong. Everything was done legally. I will produce the documents, but if the govt has any issues, it can lodge an FIR and put me behind bars.” He added that he wants the treatment of his wife to be completed. “I live here only and will appear whenever called to answer questions.”

, Balkaur said, “The CM initiates something wrong and then takes a U-turn. I challenge him that if he has to take a stand on the issue, it should be firm because I do not believe in U-turn.”
On Sunday, Balkaur Singh had made the announcement of the birth of the child on social media with a picture of him cradling the newborn next to a framed photograph of Moose Wala captioned “Legends Never Die”.
Moose Wala was 29 when he was shot multiple times when he was travelling in his SUV at Jawahar Ke village near Mansa on May 29, 2022. Gangsters
