In a tragic incident, nine children lost their lives, and two others were injured when a wall of a dilapidated house collapsed in Shahpur village, Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place on Sunday morning during a religious program near a temple campus.

The children, aged between 10 and 15 years, were crushed under a tent and debris when the wall fell on the tent where they were sitting.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav also announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased children.
