, who had been missing since he left hostel to appear for a routine test on Feb 11, was found dead in a remote forest in Chambal Valley late Monday evening.
After an exhaustive search of nine days, the body of aspirant, who was from Rajgarh district in MP, was found stuck between two trees on a rock in the dense forest area near Garadiya Mahadev temple around 9pm, Kota (city) SP Amrita Duhan said.

The CCTV footage had last captured him disappearing into the forests on Feb 11.
Police suspect it to be a case of suicide, which makes it the sixth student suicide in Kota this year, while another teen aspiring to crack JEE remains untraced for past eight days. Two of the deceased were pursuing BTech while four were coaching students, preparing for engineering and medical entrance exams.

Police had mounted a search operation, involving state disaster response force personnel, sniffer dogs and even drones to locate him.
During the investigation, the CCTV footage showed him hiring a cab and entering Garadiya Mahadev temple forest, but he was not seen coming out.
On the night of Feb 12, the teen’s bag, mobile phone, power bank, room key and some other belongings were recovered around 200m away from the temple. However, it was a week later that a massive search party including 60-70 cops and Kota civic body officials, and 40-50 family members of the teen, finally spotted his body around 1.5km downward from the spot where his belongings were found, police said.

SP Duhan said special teams had been formed and search operations intensified to trace the other missing student from Bulandshahr in UP.
He had also left the hostel to appear for a test on Feb 13 and didn’t return, nor responded to calls from parents, following which his family reached Kota and approached police.
According to his family members, the boy had been studying in Kota for two years and had scored a low percentile in JEE this year. The CCTV footage spotted him last at Kota railway station with a bag in his hand.
