After a gap of 14 years,
Dibakar Banerjee
has returned to helm the sequel of one of his most famous films ‘Love
Sex
Aur Dhoka’. The sequel, just like the first part, has three interlinked stories. First one deals with a transwoman Noor’s aspiration to become an actress, second is about a character named Kulu, who has been sexually assaulted and third being the story of Shubham Narang – an 18 year old boy looking for fame in the digital space.
Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2, though backed by some of the biggest names in the entertainment business, seems to have failed to attract an audience in a big way.
According to Sacnilk, ‘

‘ has earned just
Rs 15 lakhs
on its first day and the road ahead for the film looks tricky. It has also received mixed reviews and throughout the day the film maintained just 5 percent occupancy across cinema halls in the country.
