Did you know Liam Payne was 'effectively dead' when he was born due to liver ailment? - Deets inside

Tragically, Liam Payne of

One Direction

fame passed away on October 16 in Argentina after a long battle with

health issues

that began at birth. In his 2011 memoir,

Dare to Dream

, he shared the shocking revelation that he was “effectively dead” at birth, detailing his struggles with liver ailments. Liam’s journey was a testament to his resilience and spirit, making his untimely loss all the more heartbreaking.
Liam wrote, “Weird, I know.

The doctors couldn’t get any reaction from me so I had to be brought round and although it seemed like I was okay, there were underlying problems.” Liam was born three weeks premature and kept falling sick. He frequented several hospitals till he was four years old. However, the doctors couldn’t diagnose “what was wrong”.
The late singer added, “They discovered that one of my kidneys wasn’t working properly and it had scarred. I had to have 32 injections in my arm in the morning and evening to try and make me better. I’ve still got both kidneys but one doesn’t work so I have to be careful not to drink too much, even water, and I have to keep myself as healthy as possible.”
Reports have emerged suggesting that Liam Payne was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his death. Initially, it was reported that he fell from his hotel balcony in Argentina. However, a new statement from the

Buenos Aires Security Ministry

indicates that Liam “had jumped from the balcony of his room,” adding a troubling twist to the tragic circumstances surrounding his passing.

In a statement to the Associated Press (AP), Pablo Policicchio, the communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, provided details about Liam Payne’s death, confirming that he “jumped from the balcony” of his third-floor room at

Casa Sur Hotel

in the Palermo neighborhood of Argentina’s capital. Authorities also revealed that police rushed to the hotel after receiving an emergency distress call shortly after 5 PM local time, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
The police were alerted about an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol” before arriving at the scene. According to the Buenos Aires police, Liam suffered “extremely serious injuries,” and medics confirmed that he died on the spot. In a recording of the 911 call obtained by AP, the hotel manager stated, “A guest who is overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol… He’s destroying the entire room, and we need you to send someone, please.” An autopsy is currently underway to determine further details.
