The
Left Front
Thursday released its first list of
candidates
for 16 of the 42
Lok Sabha seats
in Bengal, featuring 13 nominees from
CPM
and one each from Forward Bloc, RSP and CPI. This leaves 26 seats open for negotiations with Congress and other parties like ISF. The list has 14 new faces, including three women. On possibilities of seat-sharing with Congress, Left Front chairman Biman Bose said: “If Congress wants to have seat adjustments with us, we are not going to say no.”
