came to meet him at his office recently. Following their meeting, many people speculated that
Ranveer
was being finalised to play
Shaktimaan
, the legendary superhero from the
Doordarshan serial
, originally played by
Mukesh
Khanna.
Khanna has now addressed the situation in a video message and clarified that Ranveer Singh has not been officially cast as Shaktimaan.
He stated, “Ranveer Singh came to meet me. Within 2-3 hours of sharing this video, the news channels started sharing videos that Ranveer Singh came to convince Mukesh ji. Mukesh ji said that Ranveer Singh has a very dynamic personality and according to him, there is no more energetic actor in this industry than him. Let me tell you that I have said all this but I have never said that he is going to play the role of Shaktimaan. Note that.”

Though Khanna kept some details of their conversation private, he revealed that they discussed various topics for 3-4 hours. He praised Ranveer as “the most energetic actor in the industry.”
