In the poster, a man is seen wearing white cloth covered in dust. He has covered his face with just his forehead and eyes visible. The makers wrote, ‘The time has come to know who he is!’
The science fiction film is directed by
Nag Ashwin
, acclaimed for his directorial ventures like ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ and ‘Mahanati’.
The movie is anticipated to be a futuristic sci-fi spectacle inspired by mythology.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ gained widespread attention following its groundbreaking premiere at
San Diego Comic-Con
last year, garnering immense global acclaim. However, its release was delayed due to the Lok Sabha polls in 2024. Originally slated for May 9, the film will now be released on a new date, with an official announcement forthcoming from the makers.
