According to Page Six, an insider close to the singer-actress has mentioned ‘Jenny from the Block’ is looking for her next big dance hit. She is looking to climb up the ranks in the music world all over again with new determination.

She had this one inspired by her romance with Affleck, which, ironically, was supposed to be a comeback album.

Days before its release, Lopez hinted that it might be her last. She told Entertainment Tonight, “The truth is I don’t even know if I’ll ever make another album after this. It’s such the quintessential kind of Jennifer Lopez project, and I really feel very fulfilled, so they really will be collector’s items at a certain point,” she described, saying she hopes it becomes something of a collector’s piece. She even jokingly said not to tell her longtime manager, Benny Medina, that she was retiring.

This is a sequel of sorts to her 2002 album, ‘This Is Me… Then’, which boasted hits like ‘Jenny from the Block,’ highlighted by a memorable cameo appearance by Affleck.
Reports claim Lopez has a change of heart from what she previously said and is preparing herself to head back into the recording studio. The goal is obvious, she wants to recapture the success like some of her earlier hits that defined her place in chart-toppers.
According to a source, is trying to put together not just a few singles but a full album that she so desperately wishes to turn into a hit. “There’s no point in her going into it unless it’s big,” the source pointed out, adding that critics had also been calling for the “old Lopez” to make a comeback. Lopez was ready to do away with all the disappointments of the previous album that she was so focused on her romance with Affleck.
