Almond oil for hair
Almond oil is rich in fatty acids, protein, and antioxidants, which do wonders for her. It can be used as texturizing spray and conditioner, but this natural oil can be on your next DIY list. Let’s take a look at how we can make almond oil at home to prevent hairfall.
Step 1: Gather all your ingredients
Simply pick your raw almonds and add a carrier oil such as coconut, olive, or castor oil. Pick a blender, cheesecloth, and a jar to store.
Step 2: Thoroughly grind the almonds
Place all the raw almonds together in a blender and process them until they turn into a fine powder, and get a smooth consistency. The almonds do release their natural oils during the process which will create a paste-like texture.
Step 3: Add the carrier oil
Simply transfer the almond powder into a glass and then add a carrier oil. Mix it thoroughly until the powder is completely coated with the carrier oil.
Step 4: Infuse the oil in a dark place
You can also add some essential oil for fragrance, and then instantly cover the jar with the cheesecloth or a lid. Let the oil infuse for around 48 hours in a cool place and stir the mixture for 12 hours to make sure it is blended.
Step 5: Strain the oil
After the completion of 48 hours use a cheesecloth to separate the oil from the almond powder, and squeeze it lightly to get as much as possible. Now, store it in a cool and dry place, and simply use it for six months.
