tendered his resignation as an MLA on Wednesday, making the announcent in the state assembly, adding that the new CM

Nayab Singh Saini

will take care of Karnal now.
Khattar said, “I announce today that I am resigning from the post of MLA from Karnal Assembly seat. Now from today, our CM Nayab Saini will take over the responsibility of Karnal Assembly.”

There are reports that he may contest Lok Sabha elections.
