The gown was listed for sale as part of the ‘Fresh off the Rack’ initiative for charity just 72 hours after Deepika’s appearance wearing it.
Deepika shared the reel on her Instagram stories, providing a link to her ‘closet’ where the dress was listed for sale. The empire-cut cotton midi dress with a dramatic flare was quickly sold out for Rs 34,000. Shortly after, she posted an image with ‘sold out’ written on it, tagging the recipient. According to her team, the gown sold within 20 minutes. Deepika also posted a reel from the event in the yellow dress, expressing she was in a ‘sunshine state of mine.’
