with Amitabh, who returned it with his autograph. He shared the autographed picture on his blog, along with several other fan submissions he received on Sunday.
Although Amitabh did not comment specifically on the photo, he expressed his deep gratitude towards the fans who braved the rains and waterlogged streets of Mumbai to gather outside his house, Jalsa.
Big B conveyed his emotions, saying, “Words fail me to describe the dedication of fans who endured the winds and rain, flooding the streets. Their presence, strength, and love are overwhelming. All they seek is personal recognition and an autograph on the pictures they carry, which are soaked not only by the rain but by their affection.”
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is currently enjoying the success of Nag Ashwin’s dystopian sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Recently, the ‘Pink’ actor took to X and reposted a bunch of tweets by fans claiming that Kalki 2898 AD crossed Rs 1000 crore worldwide and in the process, beat Siddharth Anand’s spy thriller Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh in the titular role. Sharing the post, Amitabh wrote, “Quite amazing.”
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was released in theatres on June 27 and grossed over Rs 1000 crore at the box office. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.
