‘ released in cinemas on September 27 and since then, has been doing a good busines, in all the languages combined. The movie released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The Telugu version of the movie has gotten maximum numbers which was expected, however, even the
Hindi version
of the movie has been doing quite well.
The film had a bumper opening of around Rs 80 crore in all languages combined but post the first day, it has seen a gradual drop.
On Monday which was day 10, there was a dip of 61 percent as compared to Sunday. This downfall in numbers on Monday is also normal though. The film made Rs 4.9 crore on Monday after clocking in around Rs 12.65 crore on Sunday, according to Sacnilk.
Thus, the total of the movie now is Rs 248. 65 crore. Thus, by the end of Tuesday, it will cross Rs 250 crore in India. It is expected that the movie will remain steady in the coming days as well and make as much as the number it clocked in on Monday. The movie will start facing a tough competition on Friday as Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ is releasing. Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is also releasing this Friday, thus clashing with ‘Jigra’. Both these films will pose as a competition to ‘Devara’ after it enjoyed a good run for two weeks without any other major biggie in theatres.
The only other competition was Joker: Folie à Deux.
