Dhanashree Verma Reacts To Rumours Divorce Rumours With Yuzvendra Chahal, Labels It ‘Character Assassination’
Amid growing speculation about their personal life, Chahal took to Instagram to address the ongoing rumours. While he acknowledged the curiosity surrounding his personal life, he urged fans to refrain from speculating.
“I understand the curiosity surrounding recent events, particularly about my personal life. However, I have noticed certain social media posts speculating on matters that may or may not be true. I humbly request everyone not to indulge in these speculations, as they have caused immense pain to me and my family,” Chahal wrote. However, his post led fans to believe that the cricketer is indeed going through a separation from his wife, as he did not mention himself as a husband in his statement.
Dhanashree also broke her silence, calling out faceless trolls for spreading baseless claims. She expressed frustration over the character assassination she has faced, stating, “The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact-checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate.”
The divorce rumours gained traction when Chahal and
Dhanashree
unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to widespread speculation. Despite this, neither party has confirmed the separation.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Gurugram. The two first connected during the pandemic when Chahal approached Dhanashree, a popular choreographer, for dance lessons.
