The sci-fi epic ‘

Kalki 2898 AD

,’ featuring a star-studded cast including

Amitabh Bachchan

,

Prabhas

,

Deepika Padukone

and

Kamal Haasan

, has certainly left a mark on audiences. All of them are enjoying the megahit success of the movie right now.
Bachchan recently posted an edited video of himself running from his past film days to the present. The transition from his old film scene to the new clip from his courtyard, where he humorously notes that he is still running from set to set, went viral on the internet.

Initially, he mistakenly identified the scene as being from ‘

Agnipath

,’ but quickly corrected himself and apologized, revealing it was actually from ‘

Akayla

.’
He wrote, ‘Apologies… that picture I posted of running saying from Agnipath… wrong! It’s from AKAYLA. Thank you, well-wishers.'”

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan delighted fans by sharing a special behind-the-scenes photo from the film’s set, where he appears as the immortal Ashwatthama. The legendary actor’s post came with a playful caption: “Errr … KALKI at work !! Umm .. just hanging around.” In the picture, he can be seen performing a stunt scene with Prabhas, and his on-air pose looks promising as he is putting in maximum effort to bring the character to life.

In another BTS glimpse, director

Nag Ashwin

dropped Kamal Haasan’s prosthetic makeup for his role as the Supreme Yaskin. ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ set in a dystopian 2898, unfolds a gripping tale of humanity under the oppressive rule of Yaskin, a self-proclaimed god. The film, inspired by the Hindu epic

Mahabharata

, centers around the prophesied arrival of Lord Vishnu’s 10th avatar, Kalki, who represents hope against a bleak future.

The film also boasts a talented ensemble cast including

Disha Patani

, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, Shobhana, Pasupathy, and Anna Ben.
