Biden will get $413,000 pension every year, more than what he makes now

US President

Joe Biden

will get $413,000 a year as pension after his retirement which is slightly more than the $400,000 that he currently makes as the president, a calculation by analysts at the National Taxpayers’ Union revealed. Biden has a net worth of around $10 million. The pension amount would be on the top of any other money that Biden would make during his retirement.

His pension will have two pockets — one from his decades in the Senate and the other from his time as the president.
“Biden’s starting pension could be as much as $166,374, including an $18,186 set-aside in the program for the spousal portion of benefit,” the NTU said, as quoted by Market Watch. “This estimate assumes that Biden sought to maximize the amount of the pension benefit.”
Former president Barack Obama is now worth an estimated $70 million and Bill Clinton is worth $120 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Donald Trump were all independently wealthy before becoming president, the report said.
Biden’s net worth, most valuable property

When Biden took office, his net worth was $8 million. He owns two homes in Delaware that are worth an estimated $7 million combined. His most valuable property is a 4,800-square-foot summer home in Rehoboth Beach, worth an estimated $4.5 million — which Biden bought in 2017.
Biden has another larger but not so valuable house in Greenville. Bien bought a piece of land for $350,000 in 1996 and now the home that was built on the land is worth an estimated $2.5 million.

According to a 2023 Forbes report, Joe Biden and Jill Biden have less than $310,000 invested in the market, all held in mutual funds.
Joe and Jill earned $22.5 million from 1998 to 2019
An earlier report on their income and property claimed that Joe Biden and Jill earned $22.5 million from 1998 to 2019 from three sources: Biden’s US senator salary, his teaching gig at Widener University on the side, which generated roughly $20,000 annually and then Jill’s $60,000 a year from the State of Delaware. She worked as an English professor at Delaware Technical Community College.
When Biden became vice president, he got a pay raise. He made about $225,000 a year during his eight years in the White House. Jill got a new job closer to D.C., teaching at Northern Virginia Community College, which paid her an average of $83,000 a year, a 2020 Forbes report said. The couple also earned from their books and speaking gigs.
