Mindy had recently opened up on her weight loss journey.


02/6​Mindy had shared a very humble and simple weight loss story​

“I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it. I wish there was something more juicy or dynamic about the way that I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but that’s the way I’ve done it,” she had told Entertainment Tonight.

She rubbished reports of her doing any kind of restrictive diet to lose weight.


03/6​She thought to look after her lifestyle during pandemic​

It was during the pandemic and during the lockdown, Mindy decided to change her diet and her lifestyle. In September 2020 she gave birth to her second child, Spencer and she had an extended maternity leave during which she did not pay attention to her health.

“When the world started coming back a little bit, I thought, ‘This kind of eating what appears, not taking any consideration for what I’m eating, is probably not the way to go,’” she said.


04/6​Mistakes she avoided this time​

Just like most of the people who embark on a weight loss journey but do not get a visible result due to certain mistakes, Mindy had also made certain errors in the past.

She had revealed that earlier she used to go on a strict diet before any important shoot in order to look slimmer. She had revealed to the media that she only had a juice diet before big events.

However, this time she chose to have a moderate diet instead of cutting down food altogether.


05/6​She loves workouts now​

Mindy’s favorite form of workout is walking. However, to reach this level of affinity with fitness she had spent years hating it.

Now, instead of doing one session of workout in a day, Mindy makes herself an active person. For example if she has 10 minutes of time, she likes to walk instead of sitting somewhere and spending time on social media.


06/6​Not letting workout sessions feel miserable​

While she admits she no longer hates fitness and workout sessions, she has also revealed that she has learned to combine fitness with hobby.

She focuses on choosing a workout that she actually enjoys; sometimes she loves a quick walk and sometimes she loves doing tai chi.

Doing a variety of workouts breaks the monotony, and of course the wrong belief that workouts are tiring and punish the body.
