Bollywood
actress Alia Bhatt recently revealed her belief that even the best PR couldn’t save an extremely badly-made film, as every good promotion would ultimately end up tagging along with the quality of the movie.
According to Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt said that strategies for promotions have limitations as such. “You can’t save a bad film with PR, and if a movie works, it’s not solely because of PR either.
That’s an important distinction,” she declared.
The actress added that PR and media visibility shouldn’t involve fabricating personal truths. Alia shared that while it’s acceptable to highlight certain aspects of one’s life in the limelight, lying for image management can have toxic effects. “Repeating a lie a hundred times doesn’t make it true. A lie will always remain a lie,” she said, urging people to avoid misleading narratives.
Meanwhile, Alia is gearing up for a back-to-back schedule. ‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala, releases on October 11, 2024, while Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa have important parts in it. She has already begun shooting for Alpha, a spy thriller by YRF, with Sharvari Wagh and has only finished the Kashmir schedule.
Alia will also be seen in ‘Love and War’, a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she will be reunited with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
