, Sharmila reminisced about a humorous incident involving her husband. She revealed, “My husband told me, ‘You should go to the

kitchen

at least three times a day.’ I said, ‘Tiger, that is a very bad idea. It would be very counterproductive if I went to the kitchen. I will start asking ‘Yeh nai hai, woh kaha hai.’ Somebody would resign. It’s much better if I don’t go to the kitchen.’”
Amidst laughter from the audience, Sharmila continued, “At the end, he gave up and started

cooking

himself. That was so clever of me. He started making such wonderful things. It made him so confident. He started calling people for recipes, watching YouTube, and asking friends for recipes. Once I was in London, someone called and said, ‘He gave us this fantastic meal.’ He was doing very well without me going to the kitchen.”

During the same event, Sharmila had a playful disagreement with Sara regarding the ideal co-star for a modern romantic comedy featuring herself. When asked to choose between actors Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor for the hypothetical rom-com opposite Sharmila Tagore, Sara Ali Khan expressed her preference for Ranbir Kapoor. To Sara’s surprise, Sharmila Tagore disagreed with her choice, nodding disapprovingly. Sara then quipped, “So, who do you want? Ranveer Singh?” Sharmila Tagore’s response was open-minded, stating, “Why not?”
