Remember when back in March
Ed Sheeran
and Diljit Dosanjh performed together in Mumbai for the first time and made their fans go gaga? The same magic and frenzy were recreated recently when Diljit Dosanjh requested Ed Sheeran to be his guest on the stage during his
Birmingham
, UK performance.
In March Ed Sheeran and Diljit performed on Dosanjh’s song ‘Lover’ and the English artist sang Punjabi vocals that won hearts.
This time around, Diljit and Ed made an insane mash-up of ‘
Naina
’ and ‘
Shape of You
’ that left the crowd wanting more.
A glimpse of the same has been shared by Diljit on his social media handle. It is a delight to see how Diljit sings ‘Naina’ from ‘Crew’ as Ed Sheeran supports him by strumming the guitar. Sharing the video, Diljit wrote – “My BROTHER Shut Down BIRMINGHAM, What A Night LOVE & RESPECT ✊ Thank You Birmingham Waleya BAUT Pyar.”
Here’s another video shared by Diljit capturing the collab:
Ed also shared a video of the performance on his handle with the caption “Returning the favour to my brother @diljitdosanjh tonight in Birmingham, what an amazing atmosphere, thanks for having me !” Several fans also shared videos.
Ed Sheran’s fans and music enthusiasts around the world know that this isn’t the first time the ‘Shape Of You’ star has been invited as a guest player during a live show. Before Diljit, earlier this month itself, Arijit Singh requested Ed to join him during one of his concerts. They performed on the song ‘Perfect’ which is even the apt description for the vibe they created.
Expressing his gratitude towards Ed, Arijit shared a couple of photos on his Instagram and wrote – “#london , thank you for showing up in such a magnificent way last night. Love & Gratitude #arijitsinghlive Thank you @teddysphotos for the #perfect moment.”
