also named seven of its candidates for the state’s first assembly election since the abrogation of Article 370.
DPAP’s has picked former J&K minister Abdul Majeed Wani for Doda East, former MLA Mohammad Amin Bhat for Devsar, and former advocate general Mohammad Aslam Goni for Bhaderwah.

The deadline for filing nomination papers for the first phase is August 27.
