Post the success of
Jungle
back in early 2000s,
Fardeen Khan
had become the talk of the town. He was considered to be one of the most looking actors in the business and the clothing brand that he endorsed saw its profits jump manifold. But there also came a time post the death of his father that he gave up on his career and his health took a backseat.
Fardeen
ended up putting a lot of weight.
But a few years ago, he decided to come back to acting and he was seen on screen after a gap of 14 years with
Sanjay Leela Bhansali
’s Heermandi- The Diamond Bazaar. He plays the role of Wali Mohammed in this historical drama. Post the success of
Heeramandi
, Fardeen teamed up with his friends
Akshay Kumar
and
Mudassar Aziz
for
Khel Khel Mein
, which is releasing in theatres on August 15.
During an exclusive conversation, we asked Fardeen if he was ageing in reverse, given how he looks exactly the same as he looked in the early 2000s. Modestly the actor refused to believe it at first and quipped, “Just genetics… I thank my mother and my father (smiles).” Fardeen Khan also added that he has just made some lifestyle changes and began to look after himself.
Fardeen will also be seen in
Housefull 5
with Akshay and
Sanjay Gupta
‘s Visfoot, which is all set for a big screen release.
