Nada Hafez

gained global attention when she revealed her pregnancy on social media. Hafez took to social media to reveal her pregnancy post her performance in the ongoing Olympics game which is being held at Paris.
She wrote on Instagram: What appears to you as two players on the podium, they were actually three! It was me, my competitor, & my yet-to-come to our world, little baby!
My baby & I had our fair share of challenges, be it both physical & emotional.

The rollercoaster of pregnancy is tough on its own, but having to fight to keep the balance of life & sports was nothing short of strenuous, however worth it. I’m writing this post to say that pride fills my being for securing my place in the round of 16!
Thanking her husband, she ended the caption with a beautiful line: This specific Olympics was different; Three times *Olympian* but this time carrying a little Olympian one!

“What a story to tell for your baby,” writes one Instagram user, “Balancing between pregnancy and pursuing your passion is never easy, so you should be super proud of yourself regardless of the outcome. You’re setting such a good example for this little champ!,” writes another.

Known for its combination of speed, agility, and strategy, fencing involves a unique blend of athleticism and mental acuity. The sport is divided into three disciplines—foil, épée, and sabre—each with its own set of rules and techniques.
