around him. While filming
Shershaah
, Sidharth and Kiara’s bond grew stronger, leading to their love relationship and, later, marriage on February 7, 2023.
Last year on Independence Day, actress Kiara Advani visited the Border Security Force (BSF) in Amritsar as a guest on NDTV’s show ‘Jai Jawan’. She spent time with soldiers stationed at the India-Pakistan border and shared an intriguing behind-the-scenes story from her 2021 film ‘Shershaah’ during her interaction with them.
Kiara recounted a moment from the film’s shoot involving her co-star and husband
Sidharth Malhotra
. Sidharth, dressed in uniform, began wiping dust off his attire for a retake. However, the Indian Army officers present on set advised him against it. Kiara recalled, “I remember one incident that Sidharth told me from ‘Shershaah’ . After a shot, he started wiping off the dust from his uniform and the real officers were with him at the time. They asked him, ‘Why are you wiping it off? Ye toh humari desh ki mitti hai. It’s our pride.’”
