It takes time to build trust, and one shouldn’t blindly give it to others who can harm them in return. And so, here we list some personality types one should avoid trusting easily, as per psychology.

Manipulators

Manipulators are skilled at controlling others people’s actions and decisions for their own benefit, even if it may cause harm to others in the process. They are deceitful and should be avoided at all cost.

Those who always play the victim

People who always project themselves as the victim, and never take accountability of their actions and words thrive in drama and chaos. In turn they bring trouble to other people’s lives. Chronic victims are also ver selfish and untrustworthy.

Those who are jealous of you

People who are often jealous or envious of others might not genuinely support their successes and happiness. This may even make them ham others; one should simply not trust them and stay away from such people for their own sake.

Commitment-phobes

People who consistently avoid any form of commitments in life— be it in relationships or work— are untrustworthy. They lack stability and accountability, which makes them unreliable.

People who lack empathy

Empathy is what makes us connect with others and show that we are humans. However, people who lack empathy are too selfish and indifferent. They are egoistic and can even harm others for their own sake. Such people should not be trusted.

People who are excessive charmers

Excessive charm can often mask underlying motives of a person. Such people use flattery and smooth talk to win others for their own hidden benefit; they should not be trusted. Better to simply stay away from them.
