Citrus Fruits: Coffee is naturally acidic hence consuming it with any citrus fruit can cause digestive discomfort including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Consuming coffee and citrus fruits together can irritate the stomach lining and exacerbate those symptoms.

Red Meat: Research indicates that drinking coffee can affect nutrient absorption in the gut, especially iron. Red meat is one of the best sources of heme iron, meaning drinking coffee with your steak could decrease its health benefits. Iron plays several critical roles in the body, including supporting blood circulation, hormone production, and Immune function.
Fried Foods: Research indicates that increased fried foods and coffee consumption can lead to an increased risk of dyslipidemia, which is abnormal levels of fat in your bloodstream. Fried foods can contribute to elevating your bad cholesterol which is also known as low-density lipoprotein, which causes bad effects on our health. It also plays a role in lowering the good cholesterol which is also known as High Density Lipoprotein, which provides good effects to your health.

Fortified Breakfast Cereals: Fortified serials are cereals with added nutrients like essential minerals and vitamins. Breakfast cereals are usually fortified with zinc. However, coffee might interfere with zinc’s absorption and thus its bioavailability.
High-Sodium Foods: According to research, there is a link between high consumption of sodium intake and the occurrence of blood pressure. Coffee contains certain compounds that can directly affect the levels of blood pressure. Therefore, one should avoid consuming coffee along with high-sodium foods.
