SC grants interim bail to Satyendar Jain on medical grounds

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi minister

Satyendar Jain

for six weeks on medical grounds with conditions.
He is not allowed to leave the national capital without permission and cannot make any statement before the media.
Jain has been admitted to the ICU at Lok Nayak Hospital after he slipped in the Tihar jail bathroom and received injuries on Thursday morning.
Jain has been in prison since his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case in May 2022.
