Join a club
Join a social club or organization that interests you. It could be a music club, book club or anything that you like.
Volunteer in your community as that gives the most satisfaction to your soul.
Reach out to old friends or family members, and talk to them, not just about your problems but theirs too.
Start a new hobby that you’ve always wanted to try. Go for it!
Get a pet
If you have the means then get yourself a pet so you can give your 100% to it. Try to adopt and not buy.
Attend events and meetups in your area even if it is a marathon or a plant sowing event.
Consider seeing a therapist or counselor if the loneliness is gnawing at your mental health.
Take a class or course in something that interests you. You can also join a cooking class if you want.
Exercise or participate in physical activities. Join dance classes or learn a sport.
Try online dating or joining a dating app. There are some apps that even find you friends.
Many who do practice mindfulness or meditation will vouch for it to be one of the best ways to deal with loneliness.
Write in a journal or start a blog, vent out or share your experiences.

Watch or read something that makes you laugh. You can also watch stand up comedies
Practice gratitude by writing down what you’re thankful for.

Cooking is one of the best ways to spend your time. Cook your favourite dishes or try something new.
