Fifteen people were injured on Saturday in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, when the railing of a floating bridge collapsed, according to the police. Promptly responding to the incident, police officials arrived at the scene. The injured individuals, including women and children, were immediately taken to the hospital. Two of them are in critical condition, as confirmed by the police.

The handrail of the floating bridge collapsed due to strong
waves
and consequently people fell into the sea.
